BHU launches an Artificial Intelligence certification course, registration begins from January 12

BHU launches an Artificial Intelligence certification course today. The registration portal is open for interested candidates for admission to BHU’s six-month certificate programme. According to BHU, the AI certification programme is particularly aimed at training university students and also reskilling working professionals. The syllabus includes a plethora of Computer Science subjects where students will be able to gain insights into Python, Machine Learning, etc.

Registrations for the course will begin on January 12 and will close on January 25. Students with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, technology, or equivalent are eligible to take up the course. There are a total of 100 seats for the course and the admissions will be on the basis of an entrance exam.

The session will start on February 1 and will continue till July. No course fee will be charged for the same. Students who complete the course successfully will be awarded a certificate. This is a great opportunity for both students and working professionals who want to pursue a career in Artificial Intelligence.

The programme will cover a wide range of AI-related topics, Introduction to AI and Big Data, Statistical Concepts and Applications, Statistical Tools, Importing and Preprocessing Data, Exploring and Manipulating Data, Data Structures and Algorithms, Graph and String Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks, Programming for Data Science, Programming in Python, Creating Visualizations, Managerial Skills, Organizational Behavior, Persuasive Communication, etc.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, is supporting the Department of Computer Science at BHU for the training program. This training, the university says, will be imparted to students and individuals who are either working or aspiring to work in targeted areas.
